Fire Survival Cables

Fire Survival Cables are useful for continuous operation in the presence of high temperature, mechanical shock and water spray.

These cables are used in circuits to maintain their integrity during a fire. In general , the main application of fire survival cables was in fire alarm systems.

But, now fire survival cables are being used for fire safety.

The quality to stand against fire is because of XLPE cover. XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) can work for a longer period without getting.

Fire survival cables do not produce hazardous gasses and smog, which can affect you badly. As a number of people injured because of smog that comes out of cables.

Conductor usually conducts the flow of electricity or signals within cables. Conductors can be of Aluminum/Copper.

Our range of fire survival cables is made using copper/aluminum conductors.


An insulator is the part of the cable which covers the conductor so that current won’t come out and create any electric fault. Insulators can be a wire (color) or any insulated material.

In fire survival cables, the insulated material is made of XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene).

XLPE is more powerful than normal insulation.

It possesses the ability to stand for long period of time against fire.

At the time of high heat, it produces white smog, so that people can get aware.


The sheath is an outer cover, which protects the wire from external damage.

In fire survival cables, the sheath is of ZHFR ( Zero halogen flame retardant).

It also protects the conductor and insulator in the cable from excessive heat.


Due to highly flame retardant nature, fire survival cable has application in public areas mostly such  hospitals, metro terminals, underground projects, airports, schools etc.
